Approach
How we work
A clear process where design and engineering move together, so you see the product take shape from week one.
Framing
Explore & understand
We start by listening to you, your users, and the constraints that shape the product. Short, focused research beats months of documents: we map what matters and where the risks live.
Define & scope
Together we turn what we learn into a clear focus: what we build first, what success looks like, and what can wait. Small, clear bets over big vague ones.
Development
Design & prototype
Flows, wireframes, and interfaces move quickly from sketch to prototype. We explore visual and technical directions early, and design every state (empty, loading, error), not just the happy path.
Build & deliver
Design and engineering overlap rather than hand off. The product comes together in production code early, so what you review is what ships, and we deliver it ready for real users.
Delivery is a beginning, not an end. We measure how the product performs in real use, then loop back to refine and improve it with your team.
FAQ
Questions that come up
A few things founders usually want to know before a project kicks off. If yours isn't here, we're happy to talk it through.
What kinds of projects do we take on?
Most of our work falls into three shapes: zero-to-one MVPs for founders, embedded design and engineering for existing SaaS teams, and focused projects like design systems or AI features. If you're not sure whether your project fits, just ask us.
How long does it take to design and build an MVP?
Most MVPs we design and build ship in eight to twelve weeks, depending on scope. We'd rather cut scope than quality: a small product that works beautifully beats a large one that's not quite right.
Do we work with an existing team and codebase?
Yes. Much of our work happens inside existing products. We adapt to your stack, conventions, and tools, and we're comfortable working alongside in-house designers and engineers.
How do we price our work?
Fixed-scope projects get a fixed price; ongoing collaborations run on a monthly retainer. Either way, you know the cost before we start. No surprise invoices.
Who owns the work when we're done?
You do. Code, design files, and documentation are yours from day one. Everything lives in your repositories and your accounts.
What happens after launch?
Most clients keep working with us after launch, iterating on the product and shipping improvements. And when it's time to hand over fully, we make sure your team can run everything without us.
